Wynand is a Senior Associate in VDMA’s Corporate and Commercial department and a member of the firm’s Corporate and Commercial practice.

He specialises in corporate and commercial law, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, corporate restructurings, fintech and product law, data protection and regulatory compliance. He advises multinational and domestic corporate clients across a range of sectors, including technology, fintech, environmental services, manufacturing, agribusiness and health and safety software.

Wynand has experience advising on high-value and complex transactions across the full transaction lifecycle, including transaction structuring, legal due diligence investigations, drafting and negotiating transaction agreements, implementation processes and post-closing matters. His transactional experience includes acquisitions, equity investments, share repurchases, business transfers, shareholder funding arrangements and cross-border corporate restructurings.

In addition to his transactional practice, Wynand acts as a strategic legal adviser to multinational and national corporate clients, providing ongoing legal support on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, commercial contracting, data protection, operational legal risk and contract enforcement. Wynand combines strong technical drafting capability with commercial pragmatism, allowing him to deliver practical, business-aligned legal advice in high-pressure, multi-jurisdictional and commercially sensitive environments.
